Pumped Up!
On Demand: Flat repair and bicycle safety education is offered to middle school students for free. Brought to you by the City of Albuquerque’s Bicycle Safety Education Program. To encourage middle school students to bike more and to bike safely, this is a free one-hour flat repair class, with a talk on helmet and traffic safety and important maintenance tips. This part lecture, part hands-on class teaches youth how to change their own flat tires, identify mechanical problems, keep their bicycle maintained, the importance of helmet use and how to drive their bicycles safely; in a fun and engaging presentation. This presentation is offered both during and after school hours.

Mechanics Workshops: Chainbreaker Collective
Periodic: Mechanics workshops at the Chainbreaker Collective Bicycle Resource Center. The Chainbreaker Collective Bicycle Resource Center is a hands-on bicycle workshop where Chainbreaker members who have gone through one of their training programs help others get a used bike and/or learn how to repair and tune-up it up.
